Is there any way to add Category wise tax rate automatically.

Also as well as add a custom meta tag which I made for that category.

e.g. When I put “Jeans” as a category, then it will automatically detect the GST rate and HSN code for that product.

@educationguideonline Sorry, tax rates by categories is not possible out of the box with WooCommerce. I did a quick search and did not see any plugins that do this, either. What you are wanting will most likely need to be custom created.

Tax classes are able to be assigned to products, and different rates are able to be assigned to these classes. This is very similar, it just takes an extra step to add the class to the product.

Can you please help me to create any custome hook or function to do that job?

@educationguideonline We are not able to provide that level of customization here, you will need to hire a developer to assist you with this. We have suggestions here for where to start your search: https://woocommerce.com/customizations/

It might be easiest to set up all the Tax Classes that are needed, then create a function tied to the save action for products that checks the category for a product and assigns the tax class based on that. That would be the simple approach.
