    I have two affiliate groups

    Group A: Influencers

    Group B: Partner businesses

    For the affiliates in group B, I want to pay them a specific % only for a few products, and 0% on anything else (no other commissions at all)

    For group B, I want to to pay them one rate for all categories except for a specific product category, which would have a different rate.

    For now, when I open the SliceWP tab inside the products it seems I can override it’s commission rate but I can’t seem to set a variable rate based on the affiliate group.

    Am I missing something?

    Hey @zendev,

    Thank you for reaching out! You are not missing anything. Commission rates cannot be set per product per affiliate group.

    Affiliate group rates overwrite the rates from the general settings. If you have 15% for Group A and 20% for Group B, affiliates that are part of Group A will receive a 15% commission and affiliates from Group B will receive a 20% commission.

    Commission rates per product will overwrite the rate for that particular product. Let’s say that you have Product 1 that has a custom rate of 30%.

    If an affiliate from Group A refers a purchase that has Product 1, Product 2 and Product 3 in cart, the plugin will calculated 30% of Product 1, 15% of Product 2 and 15% of Product 3 and sum these together to have the final commission.

    Ok, I think I got it, thanks for the reply. It seems like we will need to manually adjust the commissions when they arrive for now.

    Is it possible to make a feature request for something like this?

    I’d like to be able to set up a “rate sheet” based on Affiliate Group and then by Product Category.

    Something like:

    Slice WP -> Edit Affiliate Group -> Affiliate Group A:

    –> Mobile Phone Category: 5%
    –> Charging Accessories Category: 15%
    –> Phone Cases Category: Default%

    Slice WP -> Edit Affiliate Group -> Affiliate Group B:

    –> Mobile Phone Category: 0%
    –> Charging Accessories Category: 0%
    –> Phone Cases Category: 20%

    This would let our different affiliate groups be treated entirely differently.

    The business case for us is that we invite general affiliates, but with our partners we negotiate individual rates with them for each product.
