Hi,

I have a category structure with two sublevels (e.g.: wien > winter > niedere-tauern-w-w

I am not able to set a menue for all archive pages and posts below category “wien”. Is this possible? How?

What I tried so far:

+ Standard menu is working correctly on https://www.bahn-zum-berg.at (“Sommer” and “Winter” are not visible in blue top bar)

+ category archive page is OK if I set “category = wien”: https://www.bahn-zum-berg.at/wien/ (“Sommer” and “Winter” are visible in blue top bar)

– But then subcategory archive page is NOK: https://www.bahn-zum-berg.at/wien/winter/ (“Sommer” and “Winter” are missing in blue top bar)

+ post is OK if I set “in category” wien: https://www.bahn-zum-berg.at/wien/winter/niedere-tauern-w-w/tagesausflug-skifahren-in-schladming/ (“Sommer” and “Winter” are visible in blue top bar)

This is an example for my category-structure:

+ Wien
++ Sommer
+++ Hochschwab
+++ Berg 2
++ Winter
+++ Hochschwab
+++ Berg 3
+ Graz
++ Sommer
+++ Hochschwab
+++ Berg 4
++ Winter

I want to use a different menu for everything below “Graz” and “Wien”. It is not working for the archive pages like “Wien / Sommer”.

I could of course check every subcategory manually. Unfortunately the listing is not a hierarchical one, so I do not know which of the identical “Hochschwab” I have to check for the appropriate menue.

Oh I see what you mean. So you have 3 sub-categories with the same name (Hochschwab) and you are unable to tell the sub-categories. In the upcoming version, we are going to add a hover tooltip to show the page URL of the conditions (ie. if you hover a category, it will show the URL address of the category).

Ok, thanks. Would be an improvement.

Another improvement would be to sort the entries so you can tell to which parent they belong.
