The template variable of %%category_description%% does not allow you to specify a number of words/characters that it outputs. This variable simply uses the description set for a category. You can set the description for a category in WordPress under Posts>Category by editing the category and setting the desired value for the ‘Description’ field.

but if I put in the description of the category few words in the variable it will be green but then yoast will tell me that I need more words for the description, I have seen another seo plugins that generates the variable description but it is not passed does he generate the exact thing because they don’t do the same with yoast?

Yeah, you have to mention the category in a few texts.

You can leave this if your all post SEO is green. It’s for very high serious SEO I will suggest you buy some good backing to improve your SEO.
