    Hello
I installed this and like what I see BUT I have a couple of issues which need addressing please.
    1) Categories work as I set it in settings where only those with ads are displayed but they are only seen on the main advert page and the page which shows an ads details but not on the page which shows all ads from within that main category when a main category is clicked on which should display all sub-categories from what main category on the following page.
I would presume that when a category name/title is clicked on that the following page should display a list of all sub-categories within that main category. It dos not display anything at all including the main categories.
FIX; can this be fixed not only so it works but so it displays sub-categories?

End Result; Should be that when a main category is clicked on no matter where it’s created the following page should display a list of all it’s sub-categories and all ads within it and when a sub-category is clicked on that page should display all ads from that sub-category’s categories (and so on) if no other sub-categories within that chosen sub-category exist then maybe a back to categories list link or back to main page link (something like that which makes it easy for the visitor to return back to last page)
I have provided a link to the page and you can click on the main categories to view what I am saying.

I will be needing a couple of extensions for this but can’t get them till I know everything works as it should otherwise I have to start looking for another mod to do this and yours looks nice and clean compared to others BUT as always “it doesn’t matter how nice something is if it doesn’t work right” Correct?

    Hope you can help.
    Cheers

Also I would to ask if it’s possible to make the contacts form at the bottom of each ad request log-in for it to be displayed/used.

    Hi,
i am clicking on the category links in the left sidebar on your site, and the page i am redirected to seems to be properly listing only the Ads inside this category, for example clicking on category Construction list 3 Ads in this category only, so it seems to be working fine for me?

Right now showing the contact form to logged in users only is not really possible i am afraid, at least not without customizing original WPAdverts files.

    HI

Thanks for the reply. Here’s a couple of examples for ya where the two layouts don’t match and I’m wondering if it’s not just a matter of placing some sort of copy layout code somewhere from one to the other
    https://www.ozyhandyman.com/adverts/
    https://www.ozyhandyman.com/advert/maintenance-groundskeeper/

If you notice the layout on page/ADVERTS where all products are displayed, a single page product transfers to page/ADVERT with no (S).
And this ADVERT page is not accessible to be customized unlike the ADVERTS page which is found in admin/pages.

So isn’t there a way that within the code somewhere something could be written which tells /adverts to use the same layout on advert or the other way around.

This is actually an issue with many plug-ins that I have tried and am using, (no offence to you guys at all in any way) but I would have thought that this would have been an issue solved in WP many years go which would cover all plugins.

Unless there is a way I have haven’t found it and nobody’s telling me, LOL.

Anyway Think about and let me know please, OH and more than happy to pay you if you can something about it for me. Cheers

This actually is an issue with your theme, not the plugin(s), basically, your theme is using one template for Pages and the other for Custom Post Types.

To change that you will need to create a single-advert.php file as explained here https://wpadverts.com/documentation/child-themes-and-templates/ in “Custom Post Type Template” part.

If this will not help you would need to ask your theme support how to make the theme use the same template for Pages and Custom Post Types.

Hi, i′m having troubles showing the listings by category, for example in this product
    https://cosasdechikis.com/anuncio/corral-cuna/
when you hit the caterory link it doesn′t show anything
    https://cosasdechikis.com/categoria/cuarto/

I haven′t modified any template files related to categories.

Hi, you will most likely need to create a taxonomy-advert_category.php template file as explained here https://wpadverts.com/documentation/child-themes-and-templates/ in Custom Taxonomy Template part to have the taxonomy pages displayed properly with the theme you are using.
