• I searched for an answer to my issue, but didn’t find anything so here goes…

I am using the categories widget that was installed with WordPress. The widget appears in the left column of all my pages:

    https://surfingmedicine.com/season/summer-2016/

For some reason, when I choose a category all the posts within that category will not display. The only posts that will display are the most recent (the posts I published yesterday).

I am using a template called Pure Line.

    Can someone please help?

  • Have you tried:
-deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

I just tried displaying the categories as a list (instead of a drop down menu) and now all relevant posts display… but when I choose drop down, all relevant posts do NOT display. Weird.

Does this still happen with all plugins disabled and using the twenty-sixteen theme?

I did disable plugins, but that didn’t do anything. I haven’t tried changing themes. I’m having a call with the client and will discuss then… I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Thank you!

You change themes for just a minute to rule out the possibility of the theme causing the problem.
