    You can’t.

Working with more then 1000 categories dramatically impacts server performance. We had to put a limit.

Do you really need 3531 categories for your blog? It’s not healthy for WordPress in general as well.

I understand, but there is no way of choosing how many categories I want to post.. it just shows the error, nothing else. I guess this plugin only works on blogs with a few categories.

    Please do not confuse people.

    1. Thousand categories is are NOT “few”. 1000 is quite huge number.

    2. Plugin works fine. The only part of functionality that is not working is an ability to select categories from the list. You can still enter them manually.

Nope, cannot enter anything manually, does not allow it… that is my problem. Anyway uninstalled. thanks for the help.

    Hello NextScripts and ChirsZee,

I don’t think there should be any problem with handling 5,000 categories. That’s what we have on one of our sites, so we can’t use the “Categories to Include/Exclude” setting.

I noticed that the NS_SNAutoPoster option still holds all the categories in the exclusion list. So I put in a WP filter which puts in empty array and now the autoposting will hopefully work for us.

    Thanks,
    Martin
