    Hello all!

I just started using Yoast and one thing I want to change is that our categories show up in google search results. In “Taxonomies” I’ve set the ‘show categories in search results’ to “no” but they still show up. I’ve also used “Fetch as Google” multiple times and it has already been a week since I changed this. Could it have something to do with the Semplice theme we’re using? One thing I saw when I use Fetch as Google is the warning “Note:?The page will be considered for indexing only if it?meets our quality guidelines?and?avoids the use of noindex directives”. Does this affect my no index categories? Yoast has checked and they say that the categories are set to no index, so now it has to be a Google issue.

Also when searching for our website all titles look different and a bit all over the place. Would be nice to have it more consistent. The repeated title (title showing twice) was a theme issue where I had to go in and change the code (to <title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>), but some pages still show double titles…

    Really appreciate your help!
    Thanks.

Can you please provide an example URL of one of the category URLs you are still seeing in Google, as well as one of the pages that you are seeing a double title on so we can review the source code?
