• I’ve been using this plugin for a while now. It works great for pages but the categories settings just don’t work no matter what I try. The plugin ends up blocking category pages for all visitors no matter the settings enabled or disabled. In order for those category level pages to show I have to uncheck “Block visitors from visiting the frontend of your website:”. This, however, shows all pages to everyone.

I have to admit that some of the settings are not easy to understand. A lot of trial and error was necessary just to get the pages options to work properly.

I’ve tried the following but nothing has worked:

    • Deactivating and reactivating the plugin
    • Removing and reinstalling the plugin
    • Disabling all plugins except for IQ Block
    • Can anyone shed some light on what might be happening? I cannot show the site for legal reasons.

      Thanks,
      RRD

    Hi,

The plugin was build mainly like a fence. So the primary goal is to block everything. It then can be fine tuned to allow some stuff. This might not be too easy to setup indeed depending on your specific wishes and if your homepage consists of blog articles it can be even more tricky as the plugin has not the capabilities to filter some categories from the homepages and allow others.
