Categories question

  • Hello,

    I have a question regarding the categories.
    Let’s say that I have 4 categories: 2013, 2014, adidas, nike.
    How can I do so that both adidas and nike are subcategories of 2013 and 2014 and how can I use the products loop to search for adidas category which has the parent 2014 ?

    My categories are for now on one level:
    2013 2014 adidas nike

    And I want them to be
    2013
    adidas
    nike
    2014
    adidas
    nike

    So I can display in front only the adidas products from the 2014 category.

  • Make 2013 and 2014 parent categories and adidas and nike sub categories of each year. You’ll end up with slugs like ‘adidas-2014’, ‘nike-2014’ ‘adidas-2013’ and ‘nike-2013’.
    You can just use menus to add a particular category wherever you want.
