    Hi!

    After update to 1.2.8:

the post count show 1 (one) on all categories (even though there are actually many posts in each category). For example the categories widget now show:

    Category1 (1)
    Category2 (1)
    Category3 (1)

Before the update I had something like:

    Category1 (12)
    Category2 (20)
    Category3 (7)

Note: it seems as my posts still have the correct categories attached, but it is the counter that is no longer working. Both in the Categories widget and in the categories list in the backend.

Also all categories that do not have posts have disappeared. Please note the “24 items” count at the bottom, but only 3 category items visible in the list.

    Thanks for quick reply.

Today I updated to version 1.2.11. Categories are back (and count is correct to). But now all my tags disappeared.

UPDATE: After flushing the WP supercache the tags are back. Thanks.

    Great! Thanks for feedback.

    Hello together,

all my tags disappeared after the plugin update, too. I don’t have “WP supercache”, I have cachify installed. And I don’t understand what henkemail means with “After flushing the WP supercache”… can I do something similar with “Cachify”? It is a small cache-plugin…

    Thx in advance, edurix

Addition: When I deactivate the UAM-Plugin, all my tags are back… when I re-activate the UAM-Plugin, all my tags are gone again…

Hi, what I did was actually to deactivate the WP supercache and then after this I reloaded the web page and tags was back. I then reactivated the WP supercache and then the tags was still present. So I presumed that flushing/clearing the cache would give the same result.. Maybe you can try to deactivate the Cachify plugin and reload the page.
    Cheers/Henrik

    Hi Henrik,
thanks for your quick response. Apparently this does not work with “Cachify” (unfortunately). Flushing/clearing the cache doesn’t work either…

But as before: When I deactivate UAM, all my tags are back. (Both in the frontend and in the backend.) And when I re-activate UAM the tags disappear agein (in the frontend and in the backend).

Maybe a further UAM-Plugin-Update update brings the solution…

Ok, sorry to hear that. Yeah I hope later updates will solve this. It’s a nice plugin but I will certainly be more careful (= make complete backup of site) before updating next time.

    Yes, I agree completely!

In regards to my “disappearing-tags-problem”: I don’t think that it’s only a “cache-plugin”-problem: Because of test-purposes I keep running my webpage on three different servers and one wp-installation of them has no(!!) cache-plugin installed, but there are the same problems with the disappearing tags since the UAM-update today.

So, I hope that the plugin author maybe has got another idea… ??

Yeah hope so too.. after all he made the categories come back so hopefully he can do his magic on the tags as well ??

I will have a look the next days.

@edurix Should be solved with 1.2.12

    Cool! Thx in advance! ??

    Hi Alex.
I am running WP 4.7 and UAM 1.2.14.
If UAM is activated i only have 1 category that works, the rest is showing 0 in count.
if i press the 0 it will however show the post under the category.
    Best regards Uffe

    Hello GM_Alex!
Due to the lack of time in the past few days, I have only today to update.
So I updated today directly from 1.2.11 to 1.2.14 (and skipped versions in between e.g. 1.2.12).
All went good! The tags are back.
    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

    Best regards, edurix
