Categories on Home page

the home page on your site is probably using wordpress categories…set up wordpress categories, then use my plugin to associate wordpress categories with my plugin categories. You should read this:

It doesn’t work Allen. Funnily enough once I set up Categories on WordPress and inside the pugin, posts are stil Uncategorized and shows only Tags even though I deleted all Tags.

The thing is my WordPress default category is Uncategorized so not sure does that have something to do with that issue?

I think plugin created itself Uncategorized Category and inside Categories tab there’s no check box aside from that Category as other categories have.

I have issue with this problem since I first started to use your plugin and still don’t know how to solve this. Never knew how to set up Categories on Home page

Ok, sorry Allen. I created 7 Categories inside WP settings and 7 Categories inside plugin settings. Still all the posts are under Uncategorized category.

My point was that Uncategorized Category inside Category tab does not have check box aside of that category. So not even sure how to delete that category. I can only view that category, edit or quick edit but I can’t delete it.

Not sure how to solve this problem. I tried everything. I can try to change default category inside WP settings but that will change only the name of category I think

did you associate the plugin categories with the wordpress categories in the feed to post tab?

Allen that’s exactly what I did with friend of mine and I didn’t know how to do that before.

Why is the post by feed not counted or accumulated in wordpress total post?

Not sure what you mean….the number of posts by feed (in the Feed to Post admin) refers only to how many posts you want from each RSS feed…this isn’t related to WordPress’s total post count (all that happens is the RSS items become blog posts which WordPress can then count). Does that help?
