Categories of Posts not shown in Backend

  • Categories of posts are not shown in the backend, so I cannot select a post category when publishing a new post. If I deactivate all plugins, it is working, however, if I activate a few plugins the error happens again. It is not related to a specific plugin, as it happens on a number of plugins. Also changing the theme doesn’t help.
    Has anyone experience with this? Thank you!
