Categories of marker

    Is it possible to have categories of marker I am trying to show just store locations for a particular country and have a map each just for the country…
    I was able to make a france map but then it shows spain stores..

    I also would like to ask people if they have used this with say a few hundred stores…does the interface cope well..not many seem to have this need and I dont want to go too far investing to find out that it is not for me.

    The map itself does become less response if you add thousands of markers to it, but this is just the browser choking on the calculations.

    To make it more response you can enable marker clusters.

    The easiest way to make a map that’s restricted to a single country is to create different categories for each country, and then do [wpsl category=”spain”] and [wpsl category=”france”] and so. This will automatically restrict the results to the set category.
