    Hi guys, I had a problem with the categories after updating to 3.4.0 version.

    I had to come back to my previous version 3.2.2 to keep it working.

    Many users use 3.4.0 and there is no problem! What’s your problem?

    When I update the plugin, the categories disappear from the dropdown in the back-end, when I try to add a new event. Also in the front-end the list disappear from the dropdown in the Calendar View.

    Obs: I am currently using WordPress 4.9.9.

    Hi @fabionakai,

    Could you update WordPress and use the latest version of MEC and then let me know the result?

    Also for troubleshooting, deactivate all your plugins and let the MEC remain active only, set your theme on default, then reload the page, if the issue was solved, then activate your plugins one by one and your theme, refresh your page and check to see which plugin is causing the issue.

    Please let us know the results.

    I have updated my WP to version 5 and also updated the plugin. The problem still happens but I did create a new category and it appears but the old categories created before the updating still don’t appear.

    What I am going to do now is delete the old categories and recreate them and mark all events again.
