Categories Not Working

    For some reason the categories on my website are not working in WP 2.3.3. There is no DB error mentioned. I’m sure it’s something simple. My permalink structure is: /%category%/%postname%

    Any suggestions?

    The problem is independent of the theme. I’ve tried going back to the default and still have the same problem.

  • did you update both permalinks and htaccess?

    I just had a look, seems to be working now.

    Fixed it?

    Yes, I have it working now.

    It wasn’t .htaccess because that was being updated automatically by WP.

    To get it working, I changed my permalinks to /%postname/ and my categories base to /categories

    worked for me also. The only correction I made, which I am sure was just a typo, was:

    change permalinks to /%postname%/
