Categories not showing in customizer

  • Hi I have a newly installed WordPress website, I installed your theme and added a few categories after that and now after I added more content to the website, I went back to change the customizer settings to put the right category to the correction section of the homepage, but I only see the “All” option and also the main category of the website listed, but I do not see the other categories listed there which I have created.

    Can you help me find out what is going on here? I have cleared the website’s cache but I am unsure what else it may be.

    Could you please check if newly added Categories has been selected in the post too or the categories contain post or not.

    It was the fact that the categories had no posts in them. Thanks for such a quick response
