Categories not showing

  • Newbie problem. I have created post categories and have added the categories widget to my sidebar, but the sidebar continues to show “no categories”. I am currently on the twenty 13 themd but this has happened on each of 2 other themes as well. I’m sure I forgot to do something but I can’t figure out wnat.

  • AFAIK, those categories won’t show up until you have posts in them, but I may be wrong.

    Thanks. I discovered that I needed to uncheck the uncategorized box and check the box for my category. When I did tha it went well.
