Categories not saving

  • Hello,

    I’ve got following problem: Everytime I’m asigning a media category to an uploaded picture, it says saving but the category won’t be applied to the picture.

    Im on WordPress Version 5.5.1 and PHP 7.4.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Hello @jhschoko,

    It sounds like an incompatibility with some other media library plugin. Please deactivate other plugins one by one to find a culprit.

    I have the same problem since from the beginning I installed the plugin (about 2 months ago). My opinion it must be a bug?

    It hardly could be a bug because it’s the core functionality of the plugin. Thousands of people use it, thus many would inform about the issue.

    Please try if this works without other plugins. I believe that it is an incompatibility with some. I will try to fix this if I know the plugin.

    I have installed Impreza from Upsolution. When I deactivate the UPSOLUTION CORE plugin then I can save categories. Please contact me when the problem is solved. Thanks in advance.

    It’s a premium theme, I cannot afford to buy it. Could you please create a development installation with the theme and EML and provide me with admin access? Please do not provide access to your real website.

    @jhschoko you have the same problem. Which plugin is causing it in your case?
