Categories not listed in sitemap

    Hi @dchchloe

    Can you kindly head to WordPress dashboard > Yoast SEO > Settings > General > Site features > API > XML sitemap and disable the XML sitemap, save the settings. Then enable the XML sitemap again and then save the settings.

    Then check if the categories appear in the sitemap.

    HI @611shabnam , done but it did not change a thing. Can it be related to the last modification date (= 2 days ago)? Or can there be latency?

    Hello @dchchloe

    For those categories that are excluded from the sitemap, edit them and scroll down to the Yoast SEO meta box. Ensure that the canonical URL field in the advanced tab is left empty.
