At the moment, it does not support categories of any custom post type, including Woo-commerce. It only exports categories of default WordPress posts. However I am working on some new features, and hopefully this will be included in coming updates.

That sounds great. Any idea of an eta on this category feature?
It would be a major time saver for what I am doing.
If I didn’t find your plugin, I was likely going to code my own plugin.
Therefore, I wouldn’t mind paying a reasonable amount for an upgraded version.

    Very nice plugin btw.

well, I am glad to tell you that the new release will be available in a day or maximum two days. BTW, This is major release with several new cool features. As people don’t care about someone’s effort, and they love to leave negative reviews for almost no reason. So, it is being thoroughly tested to reduce the chance of negativity! ??

I don’t understand why people complain about someone else’s efforts… especially when it’s offered for free.

I’m very much looking forward to your new release.
Thanks for the update and eta!

    Great, thanks for the update!

I’m not sure if wordpress/woocommerce is giving you this category info, but all of my categories look like:
“Clara Pucci, external, Wedding Rings, Wedding Rings for Women”

They all have part of the description (or title?) as part of the category data.

In this case, “Wedding Rings, Wedding Rings for Women” would be correct since Wedding Rings for Women is a subcategory of Wedding Rings.

Here’s another example without a subcategory:
“1.5 pounds (), 729257554936, external, LIRANK, Wedding Favors”

The category should be “Wedding Favors”.

I checked products -> all products -> “select a category” dropdown and my categories appear correctly there.

These are the plugin options I selected:
    Post Type: Product Posts
    Additional Data: URLs, Categories
    Post Status: Published

    Wordpress 5.4
    Wooocommerce 4.01

    Any suggestions/tips are appreciated.

I have tested on my end with test data and it worked fine. I was able to extract categories of my woo commerce product posts.

    You can check screenshots here:

I am wondering, did you try right steps? What were the results?

Yes I am using the same options as in your screenshot and getting extra data in my categories column.

Is there a way I can send you my site’s wp login if that’s easier to find the issue?

Atlas, thanks so much for making the extra effort to login to my site and apply a patch for the plugin.

The super responsive and thorough support is very much appreciated!
