Categories merged in Google Analytics

Hi, my categories are being merged in Google Analytics when I have a product that is inside two different categories.

Is there a way to see the data of an individual category?

Since there is an open issue about it, what about adding each product to one category only and use multiple tags for enabling product grouping/presentation on the front end of the store?

Would that be a viable alternative for your use case?

I cannot use only one category, I have other funcionalities that depend on the categories set to the product.

I hope you guys can solve this issue in the future.
