Categories list too long

I have a lot of categories. In the previous editor, the list of categories was in a box with a scroll bar meaning I could keep the tags and categories on-screen at the same time.

Now I cannot keep the selected tags visible while selecting the categories.

I would prefer categories to be in a list box no longer than the screen, where I can increase or decrease the size of that list box to suit myself.
