Categories list same as in new post admin area

  • I am looking to create an custom add post page and need to list the categories just like in the Add New Post area.

    Since the page resides out side the wp-admin folder, I can’t make call to meta-box.php located admin/includes.

    with list_categories() I don’t get the same effect as it doesn’t list parent>child format!

    How best this could be archived!
