There was a broken version of the plugin that got deployed to the WordPress registry by accident or something.

The broken version is not on the registry anymore.

I tried removing the plugin (not just disabling it) and then reinstalling the version currently in the registry and I don’t have those problem anymore.

I tried Mohamed_Meligy’s strategy, it worked for me!
