categories just vanished – help needed

    I was in the middle of creating a website which has multiple categories with parent/child relationships. All of a sudden the categories vanish from my site.

    They are in the DB still

    All plugins are now disabled and I have moved to twenty ten theme so I know its not my theme editing.

    Help would be very much appreciated here. I’ve even tried a new database and importing the data.

    Oh bugger, the site is https://www.thewildstrawberry.co.uk so you can take a peek!

    Also I just noticed that at the bottom where the ‘posted in’ text is, some of the categories are listed but when you click them you get a not found error.

    Getting weirder!

    Another edit: Some of the categories randomly appear on the widget area, but not anywhere close to the actual amount, I have 30 different ones.

    Just disabled permalinks too – no joy!

    OK tried to re-enable my theme and everything again and all seems to be fine for now.

    I’ll re-post if problems re-occur
