Categories in widget not working

    Hi,

    I set up the widget to display my popular posts and it was all fine.

    I decided to add categories as their was some things I didn’t want it to include. I typed in the category names I wanted included but now it shows nothing.

    How should the catergory names be listed?

    life, love, dirty dishes

    Am I entering then incorrectly?

    Apologies but I am a novice with code!

    You should enter category ids, not names (opposite to tags).

    Thanks, I am now having an issue that I want it to display my four latest posts. Under Show, I selected Newset as I assumed this was supposed to be newest? However it is showing really old posts. Can you advise?

    could you change ordering option?

    I’m not sure the problems are the same- but the title is exactly my issue as well.

    I have many posts with multiple categories, however when creating a carousel for a category, it will only search the first category for each post. For example, even though I have 9 posts with the category “market”, buyer or seller is almost always a second category, usually first, and consequently no posts show up on my carousel.
