Is there an option, or would it be possible, to add a “category selection” option to the form manager, with the option of it being a required field starting with “make a selection”? That’s the only drawback I’m finding right now – that I can’t force the user to choose one or more categories. (I’m thinking to get the most bang for your buck, creating an option to set it as “choose one” or “choose multiple categories” would be best.. then people could set it when they create the form)

Thanks for all your work, I’m liking this plugin more and more every day!

If you make a list element, change the style to checkboxes, and make it required, you can force the user to make one or more selections. Have you tried that?

Do you mean, do that and make the list items the same names as the category names?

I guess my only issues with doing it that way were
    1) searching by category later using the sidebar widget – I could take out the widget and tell people to search by the pseudo categories I guess.
    2) the user would then still see the category selection box in the dashboard. Any way around that?

Sorry if I’ve overlooked some functionality of your plugin – I’ve been trying many different ones to get what I’m looking for.

    Thanks!

Actually I’m not sure I understand what you are trying to do. As I recall you had requested the ability to publish user submissions as posts? Is this the type of category you mean? If that is what you are talking about, then no, you can’t really do that. At this point the code is not designed to handle that kind of logic.
