Categories duplicated

  • Using Polylang for some time now, actually under WP 5.4 and with theme Hueman Pro 1.25.

    Problem: when creating a post/article, even after having chosen one of the two languages in the right-hand menu, the categories list shows ALL the categories of BOTH languages, including many duplicates.

    Is this a Polylang bug (I doubt it), due to the theme being used, the WordPress Gutenberg page maker/editor or a parameter I haven’t seen? Thanks, any help appreciated.
