Hey @tzin111!
Thanks so much for reaching out with your question. The plugin should be syncing categories at the moment, though due to a limitation of Facebook’s API, we can only send the categories as a comma-separated string.
We’re currently looking at the possibility of automatically creating a collection based on the WooCommerce categories but I’m afraid this isn’t something that’s available at this time!
To double-check if your categories are syncing, you can open up your PRoduct Catalog and find one of the products. Clicking on the product should open up the popup modal with the “View More Fields” button on it. Clicking that would expand the rest of the product feidls. If Category is not included in this list, then there’s something strange going on and we can certainly take a further look for you.
As for the google_product_category, this is a different setting to the Facebook and WooCommerce categories. At this time the plugin does not add a category for the google_product_category, and our product team is investigating whether we can add this, and if so, how best to add this, in a future release.
That said, would you be able to share a screenshot of these product fields for a sample product for me, and let me know if the Categories are available?
Cheers!
Simon.
