Categories don’t list

  • I believe this is a problem with wordpress. Somehow categories stopped listing. It used to work fine, and I haven’t changed anything other than keeping up with the updates.

    Please help.

    It looks like a conflict to me, not a WordPress issue, as in the WordPress core.

    The only way to find out what’s causing this is to disable all of your plugins (clear browser and site cache after) and see if it keeps happening. If it doesn’t, enable them one by one until you find the culprit.

    Or you could do it the other way around, which is to start disabling them one by one until you find the one that’s causing the problem.

    If you disabled the plugins, cleared your site and browser cache, and it’s still happening, then switch to a default theme from WordPress (e.g. Twenty Seventeen). Clear the caches again.

    Before doing all this, create a full website backup!
