    Hello !

People clicking one of the Categories on my 2.1.3 WP blog see a list of very short summaries of a few lines, without pictures or text formatting.

This would be better, for my blog, if people could see semi-complete blog notes instead, that is, see what the visitors of the main page see, posts that are completely formatted and loaded until the <!–more–> tag.

I searched a lot on various boards and FAQs and howtos, but I didn’t find where that could be set.

Would you know how to do that, please ? I’ll be very grateful if someone can help me ??

    Sabin

  • You could use a plugin like Evermore.

Thanks for the suggestion, with that plugin !
Alas, it will want to be applied to ALL of the blog notes, and not only the blog notes displayed when we click a Categories link ??

    I keep on searching…

Then you might need to create a Category Template, and make use of the Template Tag, the_excerpt.

    Yess !
That worked indeed, thank you MichaelH !

Besides, I also learned something maybe even more useful than how to make categories display, this hierarchy of display order, and what wordpress “reads” to display what we see.

Knowing that i’ll be able to cope myself with much more needs, if those needs show up.

    Thank you VERY much ??
