Categories deleted after post

    Hi,

    I just installed the plugin and after adding a new Video post, select a category from the existing list of categories, it showed as “Uncategorized”.

    Then when I checked, all of my existing categories were gone. The number of items still showed existence, my main homepage still shows the posts according to the categories but the category names were gone. From WP’s admin panel, checked the list of categories – they’re gone.

    What would be the incompatibility that caused it? any way to solve this?

    To make things worse, I haven’t backed up the database for some time already.

    We don’t set or modify any taxonomy values. There are no default values. There is something else going on but it is unrelated to this plugin.
    I would check other plugins in your setup which may set taxonomy values.
