Categories Content Summary or Full description

    Sorry as I am sure this is an easy question but I have been searching post and did not find my answer.

    Basically when my blog is loaded “Link to my blog”
    it shows a full content list of everything and then when you click on a category it shows a summary how can I swop that so that when it loads it shows just a summary and when clicking on a category it shows everything?
