Categories are looping wrong

The categories on my site are looping through with each listing in the category getting the page title and the event title. I have overwrite set, and the categories should be listing with the same custom html/placeholders as the main event list. I am not using shortcode, but rather the default Event and Categories pages created on install.

Does anyone know how I can correct this error, or lead me in the right direction. I am becoming very familiar within WP, however my PHP is limited to Google searches, and copying and pasting of code exactly where someone smarter tells me too.
