    Hi @kbzati

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

What exactly do you mean by “how to link from the menu to the WooCommerce categories archive”? Please check the quick start documentation – https://filtereverything.pro/resources/quickstart/ for a better understanding of how to display the filter set.

    Best Regards – Victor

    Hi @fesupportteam

Thanks for your answer. I will explain in more detail:

The problem is that your plugin rewrites the permalinks and for example you can’t see the category archives from the wordpress backend and if I click on the link it gives me error 404 as you can see in the images below.

The filters in my shop work perfectly fine, but I don’t see how to make direct links to the product category archives from the menu or any link I want to make to see the product category archives.

    Best regards,

    Carlos

    Hi @kbzati

Our plugin doesn’t rewrite permalinks, when you create a filter you need to write the URL prefix, so it won’t be the same as WP or Woo in order to remove conflicts and make sure everything will work correctly during filtering. It doesn’t affect the workability of showing categories or archive pages.

Try to deactivate the plugin and open the category, if it will work or gives the same 404 error. Also, the Free version just uses GET parameters for the URL.

    Hi @kbzati

This is very weird behavior, maybe it is some conflict with other plugins. But check your URL prefixes and make sure that they are not the same as in categories slugs, etc. For testing purposes write absolutely unique prefixes (uniqueprefix0001) as an example and save them. You can edit them in the Filters -> Settings.

For the future – I had the same issue – 404 not found on categories pages. It was because my url prefix for products categories was “category” (but in my language), I changed that to “cp” and everything is working!
