Categories and sub categories

    I have three categories: Main Category, Sub Cat1 and Sub Cat2. Main Category is the parent of Sub Cat1 and Sub Cat2.

    On my blog, I want the categories to appear as following:
    Main Category,
    – Sub Cat1
    – Sub Cat2

    However, the categories are coming in alphabetical order as:
    Main Category
    Sub Cat1
    Sub Cat2

    How can I make them appear as if Sub Cat1 & Sub Cat2 are child categories of Main Category
