  • Thank you very much for using the plugin.

We have just tested the plugin front end submission form after getting your ticket. Category and Location are saved properly without any problem on our test.

Can you please give us some screenshots of your front end form? or can you explain more?

And a little hint, you need to create all category and location from the WordPress dashboard. Then you can only choose one of those created categories in the front end listing submission form. You/Your user can not create new category and locations from front end. Because it is for security purpose. Only you have ability to create as many categories and locations as you want. Your users will select any of categories created by you when they will submit a listing on front end.

    We hope it helps.

this is a test account , please have a look at the frontend. i have test Locations and categories.

Please delete the login info immediately from your message and please never share login information on public place. You could contact us via our contact from at https://aazztech.com/contact-us/ or send us a direct message to [email protected] for sharing any sensitive information.

By the way, we have tested your website shortly, we think the problem maybe arising from other plugins you are using. you may disable other plugins temporarily and then try the Directorist and activate plugin one by one and see which one creates problem. If this does not fix the problem, then temporarily use WordPress default theme eg twenty seventeen for test. Then let us know the update and will try to fix the problem. Right now, it is working fine on our server with default WordPress theme. We could not reproduce the problem on our test though we tried several times.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved.

@tigere I have the same problem, did you figure it out?

    Hi @rmgl,
We have just tested the front end submission and category, location etc everything gets saved perfectly. You can try the latest version. You may also turn off other plugins temporarily to see if any other plugins are creating any conflict. We hope it helps.

NB: if your problem does not get solved after following the above steps, please open a new ticket and try to give us screenshots of the errors. This way it will be easy for others to find the solution to the same problem.

Thank you very much for your kind understanding.
