    Hi

Thanks for this amazing plugin, I am quite new to WordPress since I come from Joomla.
I have succesfully installed and created some content in your plugin.

My doubt here is if there is any sample backend structure to see how people actually organise things with the categories and genres.

Im quite confused on the difference between them and how to publish the Genres in the frontend. I know it appears beside the book review but can they be added in a module or menu somehow?

If my category is “Books” and I create genres I dont understand how people can actually see those genres in the frontend.

Hello and welcome to WordPress and Recencio.

It is possible to add the author, genre, series or publisher taxonomies to your site’s menus. If you visit “Appearance” then “Menu”, you should see the option to add one of your taxonomy terms to a site menu.

(I hope this is what you are referring to)

Hi thank you that solved it

However after that I encountered numerous issues which basicly was the same as other users reported.

404 when clicking in the genre, author or publisher.

The only way I could partially solve it was to reset the plugin settings and leave the default slugs and only change the labels. I tried using other templates but the issue remained.

Once you change one of the slugs the problems arise, don’t know if its related to some spanish characters but they arent allowed anyway in the slug, for some strange reason it doesnt like slug change.

I even tried changing the slug “author” to “authors” as suggested in other post but then it dissapears from the frontend.

Only changing the “review” slug already causes issues in the links mentioned so for now I have left the default slugs. Maybe something to look for future versions?

    Regards

Yeah, I think the slug issues are from me going overboard with wanting to make the plugin as customize-able as possible. Then issues with pluralization in non-English languages popped up, then issues with non-Latin characters and RTL languages.

Now I am at a point where I worry that if I make any more changes to those settings I will break sites that are already up and running with my plugin. So resolving these issues in future version has to be something I plan, execute and test very carefully.
