Let’s hope I can explain what I want and you can tell me if it’s possible or not.

Eventually, I will have a static front page on my blog telling people to go into my Categories for specific articles I’ve written.

(i.e., Category – Search Engine Optimization has 5 posts and each is an article I’ve written on that subject)

As it is now on WP 2.2, All my Archived Posts go from top to bottom in ascending order (meaning how I want them read –used a plug-in for this).

What I would like is for each archived post to be separate and not one right after the other so people have to scroll down.

Is it possible to have separate posts in the Category Archive Section?

  • so you want your category pages to display one post per page?

If so, yes, thats very possible. there are 2 plugin solutions Im aware of that handle that.

Custom Query String is one of them and can be downloaded here:

    Whooami,

I had already downloaded the Custom Query String and used it to put my posts in ascending order so then I went into Options>CQS again and changed it to show 1 post per page in Ascending order. Afraid I didn’t see that option before.

People will have to press previous posts to see the others but what the hey, backwards is good for the Archives (smile).

    Thank you so much.
