  • Hi to everyone,

    I’m just looking for a wordpress plugin to create events calendar…

    1.
    I was wondering if is possibile to use WP categories and not special categories for events. In other words: I have houndred of articles subdivided in WP categories; could I use THOSE categories to create new events please?

    2.
    Is it possible to use post and articles as events?
    I know that many eventes plugins have a “events editor” quite similar to WP editor to create events which are “separated” from articles… if I eventually uninstall the plugin… maybe I loose all events created with that plugin… correct?
    How about Events manager?

    I wish to know step by step how to use standard WP categories and not special event categories.

    In tutorial they wrote to use another (sigh) plugin to create custom taxonomies and associate them (or already present taxonomies) with existing custom post types. How?

    Sorry but I don’t understand… I’ve no practice in writing code…

    What you’re asking to do isn’t a simple thing, you would need to be able to code to do it.

    Isn’t possible?

    I was wondering if there are any people with mya same issue… If I create event, how can I show them in homepage if widget show only artcles from WP categories? O.o

    If you only want to show a list of events from a particular event category, you can use the Events widget under Appearance > Widgets.

    1. Ok… I tried it. 3 widget of EM are really awful! Are there any settings to customize them?

    3. I’ll wish to put a list of event in my homepage, with pictures and date in evidence. How can I show pictures in widget list event? Is this possible please?
    I don’t want a events page! I need something in home ??
