    I am trying to add Categories to my cooking blog with the Resonar theme. I cannot find a way to do that so that a viewer can click on “Categories” and find my recipes divided into sections. How can I do this with the Resonar theme, or is it impossible?

    There are a few ways you can display categories on your site. For example, you could add a Categories widget to the theme’s widget area, or you could add Category links to a custom menu. Would either of these methods fit the bill?

    Thanks very much, Kathryn. The web address is: https://wisekitchen.wordpress.com/. I tried to add “Categories” via widgets but they don’t show up anywhere. Ideally the “Category” hot link would be up at top right alongside Home, Archives, Victoria Wise.

    In Resonar, widgets are tucked away under the three dots icon at the top right. If you click it you’ll see your categories widget displayed in the overlay.

    I noticed that you created a separate custom menu for your categories, but what you’ll want to do instead is add the categories to your existing custom menu. Resonar only has one menu location (apart from the social links menu) so if you want to add categories there you’ll need to add them to your existing menu here:
