I have used this amazing plugin before for a site I developed, but I am contemplating using it again for another site I am developing right now. I am wondering if I map a column in a CSV to the post_category (keep in mind I am working with a custom post type I created) then if the post_category doesn’t currently exist, it’ll be automatically created when the CSV is imported? In other words, if there is a category of let’s say ‘dogs’ in the CSV and it doesn’t currently exist in WordPress, then when the CSV file is imported, the ‘dogs’ category will be created?

yes, you can do on the fly. Get the sample csv file first. More over you can have multiple categories as | separated. Keep it in mind, this feature is case sensitive and will create new categories instead assigning existing if the name is not unique or mis match.

Awesome! I was even wondering how one can put multiple categories in a single column in the CSV. Thanks!!

Keep up the amazing work on this amazing plugin!
