Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string

  • Relatively new site and new to wp. Tried to organize categories – added and deleted some. Changed some to “none”. Then got error message but no indication I needed to fix something.

    Afterwards got above error. Tried to remove/delete catergories and cannot successfully remove/delete one category although it appears to accept deletion but then immediately shows up again.

    Don’t know how to look at php file where program says there is an error in line 1345.

    No tools on Dashboard to help debug.

    Am I on my own? & feeling very lonely.

    What was the error message? And what exactly did you change to “none”?

    cannot successfully remove/delete one category

    You cannot delete the “Uncategorized” category.
