• Hi

I have just installed Quality-Control – setup the states and what have you, entered a couple of tickes from the admin dashboard. I a, using PHP5. The following is the error I get:

Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /home/talkcom/public_html/helpdesk/wp-content/themes/quality-control/inc/templates/loop.php on line 34

Somebody reported the same error but for a different script.

I was able to resolve this by deleting the tickets I added from the dashboard and add the tickects from the main page.

However I am still at a loss as to how I would change the state – I don’t have the state shown in the side bar as I see in the demo

So it worked when you submitted a ticket through the frontend? But not from the admin panel?

    I’ll look into it.

After I submitted one ticket through the frontend I was able to submit others through the admin panel without any issues.

When I first installed Quality Control I encountered the same error, checking the code, I figured out that it expected States to be present. So I just added states through Admin panel (where you add tickets) and error disappeared.

Yep. Looks like the meta boxes are messed up for some reason. So if you create it in the backened, a status or milestone isn’t being associated with it.

I’ll update it in the next version.
