Catch Box 1.5.5 breaks Content-Right option

I just upgraded to v1.5.4 and then 1.5.5. My blog uses the “content on right” option for the catchbox theme. After hitting “save changes”, the sidebar shows up on the right even with the “content on right” button selected. I cannot demonstrate it on the site because I am currently running v1.2.3 as it works correctly.

Please note: I am running a child theme. Is it possible that 1.2.3 is so outdated that I need to reconfigure the child theme based on the current version?
