• I’ve installed WordPress 5.1.1 on my localhost. I’ve browsed its features and the themes library here for a week. Since this study can last months without a positive result, I decided to ask for help here.

    1. Please, suggest a free theme, specially designed for cataloging and presenting many items, categorized in variety of folders and sub-folders. Without “Add to Cart” button.

    2. I need an option for restricting the access to chosen categories (making them payable).

I provide a link to non-WordPress site just for example what kind of catalog I need.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Don’t look for a theme that does it all. Themes are really meant for just the look and appearance of a site. If you need extended functionality beyond blog posts and web pages, look to plugins to do that. Find a theme where you like how it looks and go with it. Find a plugin (or several plugins) to extend functionality. Don’t worry about too many features (if it’s not bloat), you don’t have to use everything available. If you don’t want the cart functionality, it’s easy to hide any reference to carts.

You may need some custom coding to pull everything together.
