Catalog ID is missing error

    Hi,

    I already connected to Facebook Pixel and I just disconnected for testing something and wanted to connect again, I can not connect, because Catalog ID is missing error. I removed Catalog and removed Plugin, removed DB %wc_facebook% settings and tried to connect, I get the same issue 10 times. I installed old 2 version of plugin the problem is still continues. I don’t know what is a problem. Also note that I reset Pixel with code snippet given WooCommerce official site.

    Hi! No answer yet.

    Removed everything, database, Pixel, Catalog, uninstalled Facebook WoCommerce, uninstalled plugin and spent 5 hours and nothing. Catalog ID is missing.

    Again added some details from Staging website to Database and tested again, nothing. Catalog ID is missing.

    I don’t understand anything.

    No support answers.

    You will likely have to delete the products one by one from the Edit Product page, using the “Delete products on Facebook” option.

    Once that is done, try disconnecting the app from within Marketing > Facebook within the WP Admin

    Then, log in to your Facebook account and navigate to the Business Integrations section:

    Under the Active tab, click WooCommerce Extension V2 then, scroll down and click on Remove to remove the app.

    You can then attempt to reconnect the account thereafter.

    1. THESE ALL DELETED. THERE IS NOT ANY PRODUCT CONNECTED TO FACEBOOK. CATALOG ALSO DELETED FROM FACEBOOK BUSINESS.

    Could you disconnect from Facebook again then access the /wp-admin/options.php table and manually remove the Facebook IDs there and remove any stored IDs? You can then attempt to connect again thereafter.

    Hi,

    Yes, I confirm it. It is last updated. I already changed to 3 old versions to test that maybe 2.6.14 is giving an error.

    Then updated to 2.6.14, because old versions are also the same error.

    I am suspecting that the plugin keeps trying to connect to the old catalog, while as you said it’s been deleted.

    Could you please try the following?

    These will be in two parts:

    Part One: Deleting the database entries related to the plugin

    What we want to do next is to completely remove the Facebook for WooCommerce data stored in your WordPress database.

    – First of all, please backup your database [Important]

    – Deactivate Facebook for WooCommerce

    – Please navigate to your phpMyAdmin page, you might want to ask your host if you’re not sure, and then navigate to the SQL section and paste the code below into the white box, lastly please click Go:

    Sidenote: Sometimes some WordPress database has a unique table prefix, the most common prefix is wp, so the table will start like wp_options, but if your database has a different prefix, please ensure to adjust accordingly the above code — I see that your table is wp_UngApa_, so please adjust the script to wp_UngApa_options accordingly.

    Part Two: Connect again

    Once the above data removal is completed:

    – Create a new catalog, let’s say with a new title Catalog X
    – Please reactivate Facebook for WooCommerce and then go back to Marketing > Facebook, and click Get Started.
    – During the new connection attempt, please select that new catalog

    I noticed 2 things from your screenshot:

    1) Sell on Facebook not supported – I noticed it says selling on Facebook isn’t supported for your account/location. Can you check if you’re able to create a commerce account directly on Facebook?

    2) No option to select a catalog – typically, a page to connect an existing catalog or create a new one is shown on the extension setup but I didn’t see that in your screenshot. Can you confirm if you saw the page in this screenshot?

    Hi,

    1. Sell not supported because we know that Shop is not supported. It was the same before I disconnected from Facebook already connected Pixel. Facebook is not supported in some countries: Shops aren’t currently available in your region.

    But it is not blocking to connect to Facebook. Before I could connected.

    2. This screenshot that you have to shared with me is not available on my processing. Before it was, but now is not. The problem is, on the process there is not Catalog Selection. It is missed after disconnected old version.

    If I understand correctly, your goal for setting up the Facebook for WooCommerce extension is to set up a Facebook pixel, and not to create a catalog you can connect to a Facebook shop, correct?

    Hi,

    Some monthes ago I created Catalog and integrated Facebook Pixel via this plugin.

    But shop is not work on my country.

    But when I disconnected last time and wanted to connect again, because there was a problem with archive products. I did not wanted to show archive products on Ads but Facebook for WooCommerce could not recognize it. I should to exclude some finished products myself. Some times there are 100s..

    So I disconnected and connected again I got this issue.

    Then I removed all catalog from Facebook Business Settings and wanted to start from the white page. I still get the same Catalog ID is missing issue.

    Now I updated the plugin to new one and tried to testing, I get the same issue again.

    Even, there is shop or not so I could to had a catalog that I advertised it. But now I can’t do it.

    I just need to connect all these (wihout shop, because it is already not supported) and advertise my products.
