I have an issue with my woocommerce catalog display which is set to display subcategories as shown here https://prnt.sc/sal7qgaXZTZO but the display disappears whenever annasta product filters plugin is active as seen here https://prnt.sc/AvaHJ2EUpJRo
Now, I want my woocommerce catalog display in subcategories with annasta product filters active too. Any help will be appreciated

    Dear Yurbshop21,

Unfortunately, Categories/Subcategories display breaks the proper functioning of AJAX filters, that is why this Woocommerce option is currently auto-disabled by our plugin.

If you wish, you can re-enable it by unchecking the Force products display option in annasta Filters > Plugin settings. You will then see that it doesn’t combine well with AJAX filters. However, you can still try setting the Filtering style of your preset to URL filters, in which case the categories/subcategories will be displayed on each filter application.

Thanks for the recommendation, it helps but I don’t like the fact that it filters static contents as well

Do you mean that you have other product lists with “products” class in the same container as the main Woocommerce products list?

This shouldn’t influence things with Filtering style set to URL filters, but in AJAX mode, only an additional HTML wrapper for the main Woocommerce list with its unique class/id declared in annasta Filters > Product lists > Products html wrapper may help resolve the issue.

I have other products at the footer e.g recently viewed items, you may also like etc….

Some products are created with static contents that doesn’t belong to normal product list. Just like am in computer & accessories category, I have a customized footer after the properties of computer & accessories are stated as seen here https://prnt.sc/57vBh5QVXU-u
Under the computer and accessories products, I have trending Brands there which have other categories items but refuse to show because they are not under computer and accessories.
The second example is the Recently Viewed block, if I have 10 recently viewed items, it shows nothing if any of the products doesn’t belong to the current category…

As seen in this screenshot https://prnt.sc/3RU9z3o07QQM top rated of all time originally have over 20 products but showing just one that’s related to the current category “agriculture” and that “customers also searched is a static footer block with products of different categories but not showing because none of the products in question relate to the active category which is “agriculture”.

Lastly the recently viewed block showing blank here https://prnt.sc/WivuvXpgWTvS because all the previously Viewed items are not related to active categories.
This applies to every other categories not just agriculture.

    Hello again Yurbshop21,

Presuming that we talk about the first page loads, what you describe is not the standard behavior! The filters are programmed to only hook into the main Woocommerce loop, not the custom queries. I have just tested the Woocommerce Newest Products widget on a product category page, and it works as expected. There is a big probability of your problem being caused by some 3d party code working alongside filters on your site.

If you wish to debug this situation to understand what exactly causes the issue, please follow the basic troubleshoot steps described here.

Tried your recommendations, but doesn’t work for me. Thanks

Yurbshop21, I am sorry to hear that the conflict couldn’t be resolved to your satisfaction!

Unfortunately, such incompatibility issues can never be outruled on complex sites with code from multiple sources hooking into the same WordPress and Woocommerce queries at the same time.
