Catagories wont show up

    At random times, my categories wont show up. When this happens all the posts show up as uncatalogued and if im writing a post i cant add it to a category or manage the categories on the category page until it comes back. Any one had this problem? And any one know how to fix it? This was happening before and after i upgraded to 2.6
